Entertainments and games program in the village of Kuimikha (Holiday with new friends)

This is the program of games and relay races. There is the theatre show, the photo with favorite cartoons heroes: the cat Matroskin, the dog Sharic, and the postman Pechkin. You can attend master-classes on paper-plastics and drink tea with local pies ("shangas").

Horse sports club (Three giants) in the village Studenikha

In the village Studenikha you can make an excursion to the horse fans club. Here you can ride on horseback and be acquainted with domestic animals.

Turovets

Saint temples of Turovets is one more cultural possession of Kotlas district. . Aside from the highway is the wood hill under which the river Turovikha (or Turovets) flows.

This unique place is mentioned in the old chronicles of Vologda church territory and it called "Turovets" there. Also wall and towers to defend the place from atheists.

From generation to generation the legend is passed that the image of Blessed Virgin was observed on the tree on that hill. And immediately the church was built here in honor of Mother of God - Travel-guider. (Odigitrya).

Turovets is a sacred place... You can hear magic bells ringing, penetrating into our soul, calling people, to come here on wonderful day of Epiphany of Our Lady on the 10 th of August.

From all sides lots of people arrive at this place for praying, for getting treatment of soul and body.

The horses got well. After many centuries people restaured marking of this day. Now people again strive here to visit the temple, to bon on the graves of perished relatives, take the water from the sacred spring, to relax, to enjoy picturesque surroundings, after that at home they have family holidays. During last celebrations people could participate in the fair of local handicrafts, to ride the horses, to drink tea from samovars, to sing and dance on the garmoshka music. It becomes a favorite tradition among local population.

Township Shlpitsyno

This program is realized in the township Shlpitsyno. Here the tourists can be represented master-classes on traditional northern handicrafts: weaving of birch bark, weaving of pine tree roots; painting on wood; embroidering; knitting; making toys of clay, making Kargopol toys, making folk toys, painting and drawing in the style of applied-decorative arts. There Is the excursion to the museum "Russian wooden house".
