The relief is Yather varied: the sea-coast is replaced by plains, then by hills, and further by woods among rocks and mountains. The beautiful Lake Liman is bordered by a necklace of beautiful mountain lakes. In thickets it is possible to hunt bears, wolves, wild boars, foxes - all the necessary hunting facilities hav^been created there for this purpose. You will be guided by skilled conductors- pathfinders, supplied by weapon and equipment, and a nice .small hunting house will be at your disposal, fishers usually successfully spend time, the lovers of hunting for geese, ducks, partridges always come back with rich gain. It is basically during a cold season. And in summer there comes ease for adherents of walk tourism. Diving and boat tours in lakes are replaced by excursions to ancient town's ruins.

The settlement of Shabran, founded one and a half thousand years ago, is included in the list of major historical monuments of tpe world. The majority of tourists aspire to visit local Kechi-gaya, where among the bbrupt rocks the small falls are rushing down, where it is possible to bathe in the springs of medicinal sulphurous water. And higher, in foothills of the Great Caucasus on the basis of medicinal spring "Galaalty" ("Six fortresses ") the urological sanatorium is constructed. It is' named in honor of the ancient fortress Chirag-gala, the ruins, of which crown a huge rock. This fortress and a water basin adjcljning to it were kept as memory of a great defensive wall, which in olden times stretched out through the whole coastal plain in mountains. Thus in V-VIII centuries the ruling dynasty of Sasanids was strengthening the northern borders from invasions of nomad tribes.

Many tourists having a rest in this region necessarily use special route excursions to reach up Chirag-Gala. From the main tower of this defensive construction opens the view of vicinities for tens of kilometers! The panorama of valleys, mountains and woods remain in memory of any visitor of this top.

Besides Davachi is' famous for its original- traditions of camel breeding, centuries-old traditions of wooden architecture and fine samples of carpet-weaving, that bring considerable income to local residents. If you are lucky, you can get there an excellent carpet "Pirabadil" or "Kheyraty". In the region center there is a Museum of local lore, hotel, guest-house, a network of restaurants and motels.
