- Description: The museum is located in the building of CSU. It was founded
in 197 The museum consists of the following departments: Mineralogy department,
Petrography department. Eastern Transbaikalian Mineral de¬partment. Among
exhibits arc different samples of ore, minerals, rocks, etc. The museum fund
comprises more than 2,500 items. There are samples from all the Chita region
mineral deposits in the Department of Natural Resources. Unique exhibits include
clinkers of present-day volcanoes, Tolbachek and Karymsky.

- Description: The museum is located in the building of CSU. It was founded
in 199 The expositions are created by Professor Sofya Pavlovna Sinitsa. Among
exhibits are remains of all ancient major plant and animal species and their
contemporary analogs. The museum contains unique exhibits: remains of the
first terrestrial plants, eggs of the Gobi Desert predatory and herbivorous
dinosaurs. One of the expositions is dedicated to the history of origin, formation,
and extinction of diverse groups of Transbaikalian organic remnants.
