The national and international tourism marketing of Hessen’s state capital is
bundled in the Marketing division of Wiesbaden Marketing GmbH. The marketing
of the congress and event city of Wiesbaden as a leisure travel destination
and as health centre is done by way of exhibitions and workshops in a total
of twelve countries. The conceptual planning of tourism themes and their implementation
is under the control of the staff in Tourism and Congress Marketing. In addition,
this division initiates and realises PR campaigns and acts as a competent contact
partner for tourism multipliers and travel journalists. The Marketing division
is also at the disposal of tourism funding agencies of the City of Wiesbaden
as a professional service provider. Additionally, this is where the activities
of the Wiesbaden Congress Alliance are centrally controlled. The marketing co-operation
combines Wiesbaden’s major event centres, the hotel trade and partners from
business and, with its unified image, raises the profile of the state capital
as an attractive venue for ex hibitions, congresses and conferences. Activities
in various globally-oriented marketing alliances are just as integral to the
Marketing division of Wiesbaden Marketing GmbH as providing services to individual
visitors.
