Fishing tours in Russia
Basically, fishing tours are divided into three categories.
Float fishing
This is sportfishing while floating on the river by inflatable hard-bottom
boats, catamarans or rafts, boats and catamarans being equipped with outboard
motors.
Fishing itinerary starts on remote headwaters and goes downstream; there are
2-3 fishermen in each boat run by a professional guide. You will angle both
from the boat and river bank stopping at the most attractive places. For overnights
you will set up a tent camp (1 tent for 2-3 pax) with a big separate dining
tent. Meals are cooked by one of the guides. If possible we provide an electric
generator to charge your cameras.
Guests are expected to set up and take down their personal tents each day, bring
their tackles to the watercraft themselves.
Float fishing allows you to see the scenic landscape diversity and find most
prolific fishing spots.
Camp-based fishing
There are two types of base camps offered: tent camps and fishing lodges. Camps
are set up at the places, where fishing has proved most successful. You will
angle either from the bank or go by motorboats up and down the river. Meals
are cooked by trained staff. Camps are equipped with electricity.
Tent camp. Comfortable twin tents, separate big dining tent and streamside banya
(Russian steambath) tent.
Fishing lodge. Even remote rivers and lakes now have permanent fishing lodges.
Some of them provide the best possible comfort for fishermen (normal toilets,
running hot and cold water, shower), while others have just twin wooden cabins
with stoves, Russian banya and dining-room.
Sea fishing
We offer sea fishing on Kamchatka coast with the main trophies of Pacific halibut,
cod and flounder. We use a motor ocean yacht YAMAHA SF-51 with a capacity of
12 people (6 people at trips with overnights). Yacht fishing can be combined
with river fishing.
