In the clinical center, furthermore, reside a social pediatric center as
well as the practice community for Radiological Diagnostics, part of the Radiological
Joint Practice, Wiesbaden, which serves not only the Municipal Clinical Centre
Wiesbaden but also the St. Josefs-Hospital and performs a compulsory health
insurance supply mandate, as well.
Further, as special facilities, two left-heart catheter measuring positions,
the dialysis ward, as well as large scale equipment like MRI (Magnet Resonance
Imaging), CT (Computer Tomography) and Lithotripter are to be mentioned.
A multitude of other areas cares for the wellbeing of all patients. Networking
and cooperation with resident doctors, care institutions, self help groups,
other hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes are realized
to a high degree. Due to cooperation with the HSK Care Service, the resident

quality security. Supporting services, like social service, the spiritual
guidance counsellors and staff of service departments as well as volunteers
guaranty a holistic care of patients.
On 1.1.2000 HSK acquired the Wilhelm Fresenius Clinic and thus built up
a second post in Wiesbaden. With approx. 150 additional beds a more widespread
medical and care supply is offered. The ophthalmology clinic, the dermatology
and allergology clinic are located here as well. In case a planned operative
intervention is required, conservative operative methods are available at
MITC, Minimal Invasive Therapy Center, at HSK-Aukammallee, Wilhelm Fresenius
Klinik. Thus operations of various specialty areas are able to be per formed
with a minimum of stress and risk for patients of all age groups.
