Madonna di Campiglio
It has always been one of the chaiac have fascinated even its most Important
guests, but Madonna
di Campiglio is above all known for the unparalleled variety and beauty of its
slopes that have always been its main attraction: perfect for expert skiers,
young snowboarders and the entire family. Cinque Laghi, Pradalago, Groste, Spinale,
the main points of this ski area, are all connected to each other and can be
reached by taking modern ski lifts that are right in the centre of the town.
There are 60 kilometres of slopes with various difficulty levels: slopes for
experts such as the famous Canalone Miramonti, the "direttissima” Spinale,
and the "Amazzonia” slope, but the majority (85 percent) are average-easy
runs, perfect for those that want to try to ski for the first time with a ski
instructor, slide down the slope on a snowboard or try carving in complete freedom.
This is the freedom of skiing in a circuit that increases up to 110 kilometres
of slopes when including the nearby Folgarida - Marilleva ski resorts which
are directly connected to Madonna di Campiglio. Traditions and innovation, is
the concept that this resort has always followed concerning skiing: in the Groste
area there is the vast "Ursus" snow park just for snowboarders; more
than 50 thousand square meters especially reserved for their acrobatic manoeuvres
that includes jumps, a quarter pipe, rails area with wall ride, kicker and fun
box pro, boardercross area and kids area. And in the evening, for those that
still have any energy left, there is night skiing on the Canalone Miramonti
slope or the chance to experience the exciting night-life of this resort amongst
the many trendy spots or the mountain huts that can be reached on snow groomer
machines.
