Mute swan

The mute swan is native to Northern Europe and Asia. Everywhere it is quite rare. However, this species of swans was successfully introduced in North America. South Africa, and Australia.

It is found in the bodies of water, overgrown with aquatic vegetation - wet estuaries, lakes, and sometimes swamps.
