Bolshoi Theatre
The Bolshoi is one of the most famous theatres in the world. It is the main
attraction of Moscow's cultural scene. The building for the theatre was designed
in the Neo-Classical style by Bove and completed in the first half of the 19th
century. Many world renowned artists once graced the stage of this theatre,
among them the singers FyodorShalyapin, Sergey Lemeshev,GalinaVishnevskaya,and
ballet dancers Galina Ulanova, Maya Plisetskaya, and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
