It is impossible to imagine Moscow without the group of 7 high-rise buildings
erected on orders from Stalin, the Soviet leader of the mid-20th century. The
best-known of them is the building of Moscow State University on Vorobyovy Gory.
The other Stalin high-rises are now hotels, offices, apartments, and the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs.
