Naitonal Auteur Animated Film

The 16th OFAFA Naitonal Auteur Animated Film Festval s an annual overview of Polish animated cnema. The compettion encompasses films submitted by professonal creators, — short flms made by film- and art-school students, and amateur pieces.

"3 Elements" Traveller Festival

Organiser: Nowa Huta Cultural Centre Agenda of the festval includes meetings with travellers and globetrotters, slideshows, photography shows, film screennigs, as well as a night filmatihon and tastings of interestng dishes.

Easter Far

Organizer: ARTM, Krakow Merchant Assocaton (Krakowska Kongregacja Kupecka)

Every year before Easter, a large Easter Far is held on the Man Market Square it s a great opportunty to buy Chrstmas ornaments and folk handcrafts.

The Traditional Rekawka Holiday

Organiser: Podgorze Community Centre The Rekawka is a traditional holiday which has been for centures celebrated in Krakow. At the foot of the Krakus Mound, you can get an idea of what life in the early-medeval villages could look like. You can see periodic handcrafts, weaponry, costumes, and, above all, the rites celebrated on the coming of spring. An integral part of the event are bards and folk bands performances.

Science Festval

Organizer: Krakow's universities and colleges

Krakow's Science Festival is the event dedicated to popular science that has been organised by Krakow's public universities research institutes and consular units since 2001. The Festival seeks primarily to promote the most important achevements of the organisers and famlarse visitors with the rules governing the world of science in an accessble and interesting way.

Krakow Museum Night

On a select nights n May, Krakow's museums open ther doors to the public became a kind of traditional to organse Krakow Museum Night n the middle of the month, on a Friday night. Some of the specal attractions prepared by organizers are demonstratve lessons held in museums, workshops for children and adults, knights' fights, mulitmedia presentations and concerts in historic interors. The ticket to all museums is a con, especally minted for the occason and sold at the symbolic price of PLN 1. The coin antilles the holder to unlimited admission to all museums under the project.
