Razdori and Puhlakovka

Stanitsa Razdorskaya is located in two-hours drive from Rostov-on-Don in Ust-Donetsky Region.

Razdorsk was the first Cossacks’ military center and their capital in 16-17th centuries. A lot of legends and myths, historical events are connected with this small town. Famous Don atamans lived in Razdorsk in 16-17th centuries: Ermak, M. Tcherkashin, S. Tchershensky, E. Radilov, I. Katorzhny, M. Tatarinov, etc.

Tourists can take a walk around stanitsa which is famous for its numerous monuments of Don architecture, enjoy wonderful panoramic view of river Don and Porechny Island from high barrows.

Porechny Island is a real pearl of this region. Nature here is unique and virgin – green forests and steppes with various flora and fauna. Ancient people of different cultures – Stone age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Middle Ages left the traces of their civilization in these places.

Khutor Pukhlyakovsky occupies the territory 5 km away from stanitsa Razdorskaya. Khutor was one of the biggest centers of Don wine-making and viticulture. The museum of wine-making and viticulture opens its doors for the guests daily. During excursion to the wine cellars tour guide will inform the guests about the history of Don wine-making and viticulture. Guests will have a possibility to taste the best sorts of wine and grape juice.
