The Amusement bridge
In 1715-1716б when the Swen canal in the Summer Garden was being constructed,
they also built The Big Stone Orangery. Tne Northern part was called the First
Summer Garden and the Southern part received the name of The Second Summer Garden.
Асcross the canal they laid two budget. The one laid of along the Grand alley
with names the "Amusement" Bridge. Whencrossing the bridge, the guests
that have invited to walk in the Ganlen were all at once sprayed over with squirts
of water coming from moistening toobs underfoot. Later on these "amusement"
streams were reconstructed to sprinkle the visitors from above.
