It's difficult to overestimate the contribution to the domestic education, made by this outstanding Russian natural scientist who promoted the science within many areas, a polymath, a man of letters, and a reformer of the Russian language. Not for nothing, the university he projected has been bearing his name since 1940, and the monument to Mikhail Lomonosov created by Nikolai Tomsky has been standing in front of the central tower since 1953.
