For 300-year anniversary of M. V. Lomonosov

The II International Scientific Conference "Art and Science in Modern World" organized both by Russian Academy of Fine Arts and Russian Academy of Science wascarried in November 2011.

The main goal and the main feature of this scientific forum were scientific and creative communication, sharing experience between scientists from Russian Academy of Art and from Russian Academy of Science. Just because a program of the Conference was framed therefore to include a complex of arrangement unfolded interaction ways between science and art in spite of traditional plenary meeting.

The II International Scientific Conference "Art and Science in Modern World"timed to coincide the 300-year anniversary of M.V. Lomonosov took place in St. Petersburg, in halls of Research Museum of Russian Academy of Fine Arts and mosaic workrooms (17 Universitetskaya nab.).
In the plenary meeting speechifications made by scientists from Russian Academy of Fine Arts and Russian Academy of Science were listened. Among the special guests who dedicated the plenary meeting of the Conference were: Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, President ofthe Russian Academy of Fine Arts ZurabTsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Science Yury Osipov.
