Gavrilov Yam

Gavrilov Yam founding is surrounded by many legends. Most famous is connected to man named Gavrila who founded this place as a personal home - the surrounding were rich with game and fish.

From Moscow: by car on M8 highway “Moscow-Holmogory” through Yaroslavl, Rostov to the turning point to Gavrilov-Yam

From Yaroslavl: by bus from Bus station on Mo- scovsky Prospekt - 40 km, by car - on Ivanovo route to Zayachiy holm.

P I “Maryushka” Museum

This private museum on Chapaeva street contains 200 years old history of peasant life. Visitors will be shown all ins and outs of peasants life and the interactive part offers master classes in making amu-lets, sewing and embroidery.

Recreation center “Lesnoy Rodnik”

This recreation center is situated on the Kotorosl river near Velikoye Selo. Cottages shelter up to 28 persons - 5 persons in each cottage. Russian banya and sauna.
