Fedor Nikiforovich Slepushkin

Fedor Nikiforovich Slepushkin is a famous Russian poet. His first book "Leisure of a Villager" was a success. A.S.Pushkin read the book and tried to do his best to free Slepushkin from the serfdom. His next books "Four Seasons of Russian Villager", "New leisure of a Villager" and others were highly praised by the readers. Tsar awarded Slepushkin a caftan embroidered in gold, gold watch and a medal with the inscription "Benefactor of Russian speech".
