Lomonosov Moscow State University
Founded in 1755, MSU is the most famous university in Russia. The University's
central tower constructed in 1949-1953 is situated on Sparrow Hills and is the
most renowned of the Seven Sisters. It is 36 storeys high and 182 m high (240
m including its spire).

Not only the students of the University gather near it. The observation platform
on Sparrow Hills is a popular place: tourists come here to get to know about
the city, newlyweds - to make traditional marital vows in front of the entire
Moscow, parents - to show the unique view to their children, and simply Moscovites
at their leisure. Because the landscape opening up from here can hardly make
one tired. This place is always different and always beautiful in its own fashion.
The view from the Observation Platform on the Sparrow Hills has been shown in
films and described in books many times, but everyone who sees it with his or
her own eyes is given a thrill for a while. You see a huge city with its intricate
and intensive life. From here, you can see well the Novodevichy Convent, the
Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow International Business Center (Moscow-City) with its
skyscrapers under construction, the building of the Presidium of the Russian
Academy of Sciences, the legendary Luzhniki Metro Bridge, and many other sights.
The Sparrow Hills Park. Below, under the observation platform, the entire space
to the river is occupied by green plants - it is not just a park, it's a nature
reserve developed for visitor, especially kids, to get to know something new
about their country's nature.
