Everyone knows that the Russian Tsars lived in the Kremlin, but they also had their own estates outside the city. They tried to surround their residences with all possible splendor to duly impress foreign envoys. Since then, Moscow has increased significantly, and these «suburban» lands have long since become part of the city territory, some of them even being removed from its borders.
