The International Football Federation FIFA presented all Russian fans with
a wonderful present - the right to organise the Mundial-2018. Isn't it the dream
of any enthusiast to see the best football in the world "live"?
13 cities of Russia are assuming the priority place on the planet. They have
been grouped into 4 clusters:
- Central: Moscow;
- Northern: St Petersburg, Kaliningrad;
- Volga Region: Yaroslavl, Kazan,Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Samara, Volgograd;
- Southern: Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi;
- Yekaterinburg (this Urals city holds a special place - it represents at
the same time both the European and Asian parts of this huge country). Preparations
for this large-scale sporting event are proceeding at full speed.
The stadiums under construction or renovation will satisfy the highest world
standards. The infrastructure created for the Sochi Olympics will be used fully.
The cities where the matches are being held will be con-nected by a network
of high-speed railways. Travel for fans will be free of charge. Modern airports,
highways and ports are being prepared to receive thousands of football fans
from the whole world, so that they may admire but not be exhausted by the Russian
expanses.
In all host cities of the Mundial, the best premises are being turned over
for fan zones. Russia is doing all it can for the comfort and convenience of
its guests. The warm hearts of enthusiasts will be filled to the brim with joyful
expectation of this great football holiday!
